6. James Comey
Trump is only the second president in history to fire the FBI director, next to Clinton who fired William S. Sessions for being guilty of ethical violations. It’s common to let directors, like Comey, finish out their 10-year terms, which begs the question: How did Jame Comey, a well-respected FBI director, manage to get fired? It was all for failing to demonstrate personal loyalty to President Trump when he was asked to drop investigations about White House allies and their connection to Russia. The worst part is that Director Comey found out about his own firing while seeing it broadcast on the news during a speaking event he was attending. Can we devote a little more respect for those who are serving and protecting our country?
