With a Republican majority in both House and Senate since 2010, President Obama was forced to work around many roadblocks in order to push his political agenda forward.

Even though it would have been tempting to highlight his own accomplishments despite this fact, at the end of his presidency, Obama chose to highlight his bipartisan accomplishments like the No Child Left Behind education law in the spirit of showing what benefits can come from working together.
