He oversaw a period of economic expansion

During his presidency, Obama presided over a period of unprecedented economic expansion, which included the creation of more private sector jobs than ever before. In fact, it’s the longest straight period of job creation since the US Department of Labor started keeping records.

As well, he ensured that his government only expanded its spending at a rate of 3.3%, which is a miniscule amount compared to the so-called fiscally conservative governments of Presidents Reagan (8.7%) and George W. Bush (8.1%).
