His administration was the most diverse in history
Stats have shown that President Obama’s administration was the most diverse in the history of the United States. He appointed women and minorities (including the first Hispanic judge Sonia Sotomayor and first openly gay US Army Secretary Eric Fanning) into policy positions 53.5% of the time.
Compare this to his predecessor, who appointed only 25.6% women and minorities to new policy positions. His staunch support of diversity will hopefully leave a long-lasting legacy.
