It’s a fact that there is really no topic that Donald Trump can’t bring back around to himself. The thing is, it’s not just some random brush stroke in his portrait. It’s his primary color and it comes up in everything he does. Any time he gives a speech honoring a group of people, all of his energy goes so transparently to inflating himself. Take, for example, his meeting with black supporters in the Roosevelt Room. It was the prime portrait for egoism. He slipped in a thank you to Fox News because it “treated me very nice.” He shared his belief, which was far from factual, that black voters so liked his campaign message that they voted for him in unexpectedly high numbers, when in reality, he only received 8% of the black vote.
