Diego Corrales was a supernova of a fighter, beginning his career a flawless 33-0 before being stopped by Floyd Mayweather in 2001. Shortly after that loss, Diego was charged with abusing his pregnant wife. He agreed to a plea bargain and served 14 months in prison. Diego fought his way back to the top of the lightweight division, and was part of two legendary fights with Cuban Joel Casamayor before posting a thrilling KO of Jose Luis Castillo in 2005. But Diego died in a motorcycle crash in Las Vegas in 2007, his aggressively reckless style outside of the ring this time costing him his life.
