Edwin Valero only lived for 28 years, but he managed to fight 27 professional fights – winning each and every one of them by knockout – during his brief and violent life. Before turning pro, the Venezuelan native suffered brain injuries from a motorcycle crash, yet he still started his boxing career 18-0 with 18 KOs. Shortly after his final fight in 2010, Edwin was arrested for abusing his wife, and a few months later, he stabbed her to death in a hotel room in Venezuela. The next day, Edwin hung himself in his jail cell. Perfect inside the ring, Edwin seemed perfectly tortured outside of it.
