7. Appreciate Art
While we don’t have many rainy days here in Southern California, we do see a few from time to time. Use them as an opportunity to spend some time indoors at a museum. Chances are, there’s a handful of museums not far from where you live. Plus, there are all different types—art, history, science, and many others.
What’s even better is that a lot of these museums offer a bunch of free perks if you purchase an annual membership. Some of these can include member parties, private tours, and early access to expositions. It also helps to bring more art into the community and it’s a great way to spend the day—rain or shine.
So, find some museums you’re interested in and plan a day to visit. Who knows, you might even learn a thing or two.
